The pie was amazing! We visited three times during our stay in the area. We tried the apple and rhubarb as well as their chicken pot pie. The staff was always really friendly and the decor was really cute. We highly recommend this place.

Cute place. Glad we stopped. Super busy for lunch and when we went in only one waitress was serving and this poor girl was busting her butt. She was really sweet and was patient and thorough in recommending pie when my husband decided to act like he had never eaten pie in his life. Wish I had gotten her name because this girl was hustling and was very kind. Very limited lunch menu- hot dog, chicken salad, pulled pork sandwich, chicken pot pie and Mac & cheese. Because of that, you do get your food quickly. Husband liked his pulled pork- it was plain just BBQ pulled pork on a kaiser. With a bag of Lay's. The chicken pot pie was a generous bowl with bottom crust and a crust chip on top. Very heavy on the celery but lovely tender chunks of chicken. The dessert pies were good- J got the bumbleberry which was raspberry, rhubarb, strawberry and blackberry I think. It was very good and a good recommendation from our waitress. I got the peanut butter pie- it was served very chilled so it was hard, like hard ice cream consistency. Peanut butter flavor was very good. 1 soda, 1 water, chicken pot pie, pulled pork sandwich and two slices of pie- $42 before tip.

A popular place! Line was long, but moved quickly. We got the strawberry rhubarb pie and the peanut butter pie (with plans to split those) and a scoop of huckleberry ice cream. One thing is that we had asked if the ice cream could be set on the side (because we have someone who is lactose intolerant) and the girl smiled at us and put the ice cream right on top of the rhubarb pie, so we had to take some quick action to salvage the half of pie that the lactose intolerant person could eat. The peanut butter had a more subtle flavor and the strawberry rhubarb was sweet. The huckleberry ice cream was good, but still cant beat the huckleberry fudge ice cream sold in some of the national parks. Make sure you get a picture with the purple pig in front. 2024 #48

We had some extra time between visiting Wind Cave and Jewel Cave, so we stopped here for a treat. I got the Raspberry Jalapeño Rhubarb Pie with Peachy Keen Ice Cream. It was the best pie I've had in a long time. The jalepeño added some flavor with a hint of spice that paired perfectly with the sweet raspberry and tart rhubarb. I will come back here every time I'm in Custer!

Service was incredibly fast and friendly. The pie and ice cream combo was deeelicious. I had apple pie with vanilla and my wife had peach pie with moose tracks. The pie is otherworldly good and the crust is fantabulous. We also purchased sandwiches to go for dinner later and they look amazing as well.

This place has the cutest ambiance and decor. It's a purple house right of the main highway you can't miss. Up front is a the ice cream parlor with seating toward the rear. They have a small soup, sandwich, and salad menu with various ice creams and homemade pies. The paninis were okay - they come with a bag of lays potato chips. The ice cream and pies were amazing! Next time we will stop by for the pie alone! Both of the waiters we had were fast, and very accommodating. We will be back.

Wow what a cute place! My husband liked his peach pie and my son liked his cotton candy ice cream. I tried the huckleberry flavor and it tasted not very authentic. I'd imagine it's a great stop in town for dessert, but nothing that's going to knock your socks off. The staff were very nice and full of information.
